The North Texas International Piano Symposium: Sounds of Latin America was created to discover, amplify, and celebrate the research to the piano literature with a global resonance, particularly those that have been underrepresented. This year, its objective is to increase the awareness and appreciation of the musical life of Latin America, introduce new works, and foster a network among music professionals and emerging scholars and artists.
